Lions Club
In the Summer of 2008, the Concord Lions Club built a sensory room for autistic children at Mountain View Elementary School in Concord. The room is iflled with textures, toys and even a quite place for the children to play, learn and relax. We're particular proud of the custom tile covered sink counter. Thanks to In The Kiln of Walnut Creek and Western Tile and Design of Concord for supplying the materials and firing the tiles. We also recieved donated/discounted materials from Bill's Ace Hardware of Concord, Dolan's Lumber of Concord and Ashby Lumber of Concord.
